The Challenge

Our customer wanted to develop a clean a clear living space in the unused double garage. Creating a self-contained annexe for a relative, including it’s own front door access separate to that of the main residence.

The original space was to be split into an open-plan kitchen diner, including a small island. Then a walk in shower room and double bedroom. The double garage doors were replaced with matching rosewood UPVC thatched style windows to maximise natural light.

A loft hatch was added for access to the newly fitted heating system, powered by a Worcester Bosch boiler.

The newly created walk in shower room needed to have plenty of natural light so a frosted double paned window was added, as well as two reveals for showering utensils. Finally as flush shower tray to that of the tiled floor to avoid chances of tripping.

Customer Q&A

To provide additional room and living accommodation.
From the start, they were kind and professional. The start date was sufficient, and the quote was thorough and sent swiftly. The follow-up phone conversations were quite beneficial, and it was a pleasant experience.
Customer service is excellent and goes above and beyond. Any problems that arose along the road were quickly handled, it was never difficult to ask inquiries, and all responses were satisfactory from the beginning to the end of the project.
Overall, it was a great experience. There were a few roadblocks related to covid, which resulted in supplies not being easily accessible, causing a delay in the completion of the job, but we were kept informed throughout. Any issues that emerged were immediately resolved, but everything else was fantastic.
